Set up a test meeting
Before you set up your first meeting, it is useful to set up a test meeting to familiarize yourself with the Zoom app interface. However, this is not necessary; if you'd like to skip this step, click on the button below to go to the next section: "Set up a meeting".
Here is what to do to have a test meeting:
-
STEP 1: Go to your app screen and tap on the Zoom logo to open the Zoom app. Tap on the "Meetings" button on the lower panel.
-
STEP 2: You will see your personal meeting ID. Tap on the "Start" button under it. This will open your own meeting room; if you haven't yet invited anyone to join it, the room will be empty except for yourself, and you will be able to check your video and explore the interface. For a detailed description of the meeting options, see the next section "Set up a meeting" under "Use of the different functions in the meeting".
-
STEP 3: When you are ready to leave the meeting, simply tap "End" and then "End meeting for all".
