Install mobile app

  • STEP 1: Go to the Play Store if you have an Android phone (circled in blue) or App Store if you have an iPhone.

  • STEP 2: Look for Zoom in the search function at the top, and then install the Zoom app showing up as "ZOOM Cloud Meetings". To do this, tap on the "Install" button next to the Zoom app name, and the app will be installed on your phone.

  • STEP 3: Go to your app screen and tap on the Zoom logo to open the Zoom app. On the main screen you will see the three options that you can choose from:​

    • Join a meeting if you already have the meeting ID (that someone sent to you)

    • Sign in (if you already have an account)

    • Sign up if you do not have a Zoom account.

       We will explore all of these options further.

Your next step depends on whether you want to host a meeting or simply join a meeting that someone else organised.

​

  • If you want to HOST, i.e. organise a meeting, click on the button below to go to the next section: "Create an account"

​​

  • If you want to JOIN a meeting that someone else organised, you don't need a Zoom account and you can jump straight to "Join a meeting"
