Install Zoom Desktop App

  • STEP 1: Using your web browser, go to www.zoom.us, on the top right click on RESOURCES and then choose "Download Zoom Client".

 

  • STEP 2: In the Download Centre, click on "Download Zoom Client for Meetings" and save the file on your computer, for example on the desktop.

  • STEP 3: Go to the location where you saved the file (for example, your desktop), then open the Zoom package (double click to open) and follow the installation process.

  • STEP 4: The Zoom Desktop program will then be saved under Applications (or in a different location if you specified it), with a blue/white zoom symbol. Simply double click on that symbol to start the program.

Now your Zoom app is ready to use! Your next step depends on whether you want to host a meeting or simply join a meeting that someone else organised.

  • If you want to HOST, i.e. organise a meeting, click on the button below to go to the next section: "Create an account"

  • If you want to JOIN a meeting that someone else organised, you don't need a Zoom account and you can jump straight to "Join a meeting"
